Who builds Sealinn
Sealinn does one thing: subcontractor insurance tracking for general contractors who do not have a compliance department.
Almost every tool in this category was built for an enterprise vendor-risk team and priced accordingly. The general contractor with forty subs and a filing cabinet was left with a spreadsheet and a reminder in their calendar — which works right up until the week nobody looks at it. Sealinn exists for that person.
The writing on this site follows from the same idea. Nearly everything published about certificates of insurance is aimed at the business that has to provide one. Our reader was just handed one and has to decide whether a crew starts Monday, so everything we write is written from that side of the transaction.
Things you can check for yourself
Sealinn is a new product. Everything below is published, documented, or visible in the software itself, so you can confirm it before you commit to anything.
We publish the price
Every plan and every limit is on the pricing page, including the free tier. There is no “contact us for a quote” tier and no call you have to sit through to find out what it costs.
We do not claim a certificate proves anything
The ACORD 25 says of itself that it “does not affirmatively or negatively amend, extend or alter the coverage afforded by the policies below.” So the writing here tells you to collect the endorsements behind it, even though that is a harder sell than pretending the certificate is enough.
A person still decides
Sealinn reads each certificate and flags what does not meet the rules you set. It does not approve anything on your behalf, and it does not tell you a sub is compliant when a field was unreadable — an unreadable field blocks approval and says so.
Your records leave with you
You can download your certificates and export the full audit log at any time, including after you cancel. How that works is written down rather than promised.
Reaching a human
A real person reads every message. There is no ticket portal and no chatbot in front of them. All four addresses are here — support, security, privacy and legal.
