audit trail
Sealinn reads the certificate itself, so it works with whoever your subcontractor is insured through — no integration, and nothing for their agent to set up.
Click through the product
Review a certificate, record a documented exception, and watch the customer-owned review queue update. Press play, or step through it yourself.

From certificate to reviewable status
Extract the fields, compare the coverage, and schedule the follow-up, with uncertain results kept visible for review.
Pull key fields from an ACORD 25
Sealinn extracts limits, dates, and marked endorsement boxes, then records a confidence score for each field. Low-confidence results are queued for human review.
Sealinn reads all four, straight off the certificate:
- 1Additional insured — the ADDL INSD box
- 2Waiver of subrogation — the SUBR WVD box
- 3Policy expiry — so renewals chase themselves
- 4Coverage limits — checked against your minimums

Compare coverage with your requirements
Set default minimums and Sealinn applies them to uploaded certificates. Values below a threshold are flagged for action instead of staying buried in a PDF. Override requirements for a project, then recalculate the affected subcontractors.
Follow up before recorded dates pass
Sealinn emails subcontractors 90, 60, 30 and 7 days before expiry — then escalates to you if a reminder goes unanswered. On Growth and above, a current number-bound preference submitted through the record's upload page can also enable scheduled text reminders.
The evidence loop behind the status
A dashboard badge is only the last line. Sealinn keeps the sources, work dates, requirements, responses, decisions, and selected handoffs that explain how it got there.
Evidence provenance
Trace newly recorded fields back to their source
Sealinn retains the source artifact, page, confidence, and review history for newly recorded values. Linked endorsement files stay attached to the certificate evidence they support.
Work-period review
See whether the evidence spans the assignment
Assignment dates are compared with supported general liability, workers’ compensation, auto, and umbrella evidence periods so a gap stays visible for a person to resolve.
Actions and decisions
Give every gap an owner and a history
The action queue brings missing evidence, exceptions, recorded source checks, and customer work or payment decisions into one chronology without silently enforcing an external hold.
Requirement intelligence
Turn cited contract language into reviewed prerequisites
Contract-derived requirement candidates retain citations and require human approval. Versioned templates and phase packs keep project prerequisites reviewable before they are applied.
Response workspaces
Give brokers and suppliers a scoped place to respond
Revocable links let the invited party upload, correct, comment, answer project questions, and submit renewal or change notices without tenant-wide workspace access.
Reports and handoffs
Share the selected record, not the whole workspace
Schedule in-app reports and inspect bounded analytics on Growth. Professional adds selected expiring evidence rooms and manual downstream snapshots with acknowledgment and reversal.
The part your subs actually touch
No app to install, no account to remember — here's the whole thing from their side.
You send them a link
Sealinn emails your subcontractor a branded upload link — or you text it. Nothing for them to download.
They upload from a phone
They tap the link and add their certificate. No account, no login — that's the entire ask.
You approve, on your terms
Sealinn reads what they sent and flags anything unclear; a person on your team confirms it. The software does the typing — you keep the final say.
At renewal they get a fresh link to the same upload page — nothing new to learn.
Move COI tracking beyond the roster
A spreadsheet is useful for names and contact details. It does not read incoming certificates, compare coverage with requirements, or schedule reminder emails. Import your existing CSV or Excel roster and preview the changes before saving.
A spreadsheet today
- Expiry checks depend on someone reviewing the sheet
- Follow-up is a manual task
- Certificates and status notes can live in separate places
- Preparing a job report takes manual reconciliation
With Sealinn
- Upcoming expirations appear in the workspace
- Scheduled reminder emails follow your cadence
- Uploaded certificates are checked against your requirements
- Export a project compliance report when needed
Your records stay separate, and stay yours
Subcontractor insurance records are sensitive. Here is how Sealinn separates, records, and returns your data.
Locked to your company
Each company's subcontractor records are isolated by database rules, not only hidden in the interface.
A protected audit trail
Sealinn attempts to record key uploads and review actions. The standard app database role cannot change existing entries; privileged maintenance access and failed writes remain outside that protection.
Yours if you leave
Cancel renewal and you can still download your certificates as a zip, organized by subcontractor, export the compliance ledger, and export the audit log.
Review the product before you rely on it
Open the product, policies, processor list, and pricing yourself. These are the details a general contractor can verify before deciding whether Sealinn fits the workflow.
- Open a sample workspaceUse invented subcontractors and certificates to inspect the dashboard and review flow. The public demo does not accept visitor files during the first-ten launch.
- Click through a guided workflowThe walkthrough places selected product review components inside a guided scene with invented sample data, not a real customer's records.
- Check the security claimsEach one names the mechanism behind it — which tables enforce tenant isolation, which permissions the application role does not hold — so each one can be argued with.
- See who else touches your dataReview the providers used to run the service, what each one does, and the data categories disclosed for it.
- Review the processor termsRead the current terms for scope, security, subprocessors, data-subject requests, audits, deletion, and transfers before you sign.
- See the price without askingPublished self-serve prices, capacity limits, feature boundaries, and key billing details are on the page with no form or sales call required.

Do subcontractors need an account?
How accurate is the reading?

Why we built Sealinn
We built Sealinn for the general contractor who's running the job and chasing insurance certificates in the same afternoon. An expired COI is easy to miss and expensive to miss — one lapse, and a subcontractor's claim can land on your policy.
So we made the boring part automatic, from reading the certificate to chasing the renewal. You choose a plan for the capacity and operating workflow you need, never by the document — within that plan, a month with fifty certificates costs the same as a month with five.

Questions before you start? hello@sealinn.com.
Not sure what your subcontract is asking for?
We write these for the person holding the certificate, not the person who has to provide one.
- What to require before a sub startsThe whole checklist — coverages, endorsements, and the paperwork to collect.
- Waiver of subrogationWhy the sub's insurer can't come after you, and the endorsement that proves it.
- Additional insuredBeing named isn't the same as being covered. Here's what to ask for.
- How to read an ACORD 25The certificate box by box — including the line that says it proves nothing.
